Valerie Fleury obtained her degree as an Animal health technician form the Cegep of St-Hyacinthe in 2009. Driven by her passion for animals, Valerie worked during her school education in different veterinary settings before joining the dermatology team at DMV Center in June 2009. Valerie is actively pursuing her education in veterinary dermatology as well as taking charge of the hyperthyroid cats hospitalized in the Iodine 131 radiotherapy service of the DMV Center.
Valerie likes animals and brings compassionate, professional care to all the animals under her charge, but above all, she likes people and has the talent of making everyone she interacts with comfortable. She therefore excels in this specialty where owners of animals with chronic skin diseases require close relationship with the healthcare team.
Valerie lives with her son Samuel and their three cats and two dogs.
