From 2004-2014, Dr. Alexander practiced and taught veterinary diagnostic imaging as a professor at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of l’Université de Montréal. In addition to clinical practice in radiology, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vétérinaire, she developed research interests in CT-scan, in particular in the evaluation of renal function. In 2011, she received the Pfizer Carl J. Norden prize for teaching excellence. Since 2012, she has been vice-president of the Association québecoise de protection des chevaux (Refuges de Galahad). She is currently an examiner for the American College of Veterinary Radiology. She joined the Centre DMV team of specialists in 2014.
In her free time, Dr. Alexander can be found either on horseback or in the great outdoors. She also enjoys discovering the many treasures of our beautiful planet.
